About Kathy Fronheiser
Kathy spent much of her childhood in Cleveland, Ohio at her favorite place: the library. For the past 20 years, she has lived in Denver, Colorado, where she began writing a few books of her own.
The Mirror's Secret was born during a seminar on Women in the Civil War in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania where she was conducting research for an earlier unpublished novel. The spirit of a Civil War officer who still inhabits the bed and breakfast where she stayed was the inspiration for this story.
In addition to her fiction projects, Kathy wrote Accidental Adventures: The Extraordinary Travel Experiences of Two Ordinary People, a nonfiction book filled with many travel experiences she and her husband have shared as they visited over 100 countries around the world during their thirty years together. It details the stories of unintended "accidental" adventures that range from getting lost to unusual foods to lengthy hospital stays in foreign countries.
Kathy's message to her readers: Kind people and fascinating adventures await you everywhere, from your own neighborhood to the other side of the world. Don't be afraid to explore them. Check back at here to keep up-to-date!
